I know I have more to talk about... but for now, know that you can scroll down to the bottom of this page and see links that will let you look at EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER WRITTEN IN MY LIFE. This is the MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER.

I should also tell you: we're playing some shows, coming up pretty quick. I think some of you know about this. We're playing at All Tomorrow's Parties at Camber Sands Holiday Center (it's like Switzerland there) in East Sussex, UK. We're playing there twice: on Stage 1, Sunday April 21st at 8:30 PM; and on Stage 2, Saturday April 27th at 4:45 PM.

And not only that: we're also playing on Thursday, April 25th, at the Garage in London with Mission of Burma and Versus.

I don't think there's anything else to report... but... maybe... no. Nothing else. Chicago is proving to be not so bad as I'd expected. I thought I was going to be bobbing in the lake by now, but it's going alright.

Much more later. I'll try to keep up while we're at the festival, but God knows I am going to be a mess the whole week, so don't hold me to it.

Yet another reminder, and then I shut up until something interesting happens:

Fri 22 Mar / Chicago, IL / Schuba's w/Mates of State and The Swords Project
Sat 23 Mar / Indianapolis, IN / Radio Radio w/The Swords Project
Sun 24 Mar / Wayne, MI / Michigan Fest w/a thousand other bands

Did I say the new record is coming out in June? I think it's happening around the 3rd of June.

I will try to have some actual news next time. I hope you like the new pictures, I'll keep 'em coming.

I thought it wouldn't work, but I think The Musical Correctness Calulator is actually working now - and I just fixed the comment problem so you can make all the comments you want. I know I'm making much too big a deal out of this, but we all need or pacifiers. It's like my own little quilting bee.

Don't forget the shows, this weekend and next:

Sat 16 Mar / Dubuque, IA / 4H Fairgrounds (early show--about 3pm) w/Slakjawd, Taskmaster, Unhinged, and, I believe, lots of skater kids! Righteous! This is what I moved to the fucking midwest for! You'd damn well better show up!

Okay, let's see if this works. First off, read Tim's article on Musical Correctness. And then, when you're done with that, and you think you're ready, go to The Musical Correctness Calulator.

It's my first stab at it, so don't expect much. I've populated the ratings (which you don't get to read until you vote, I'll fix that soon) with stuff from Tim's article.

And now it is time for lunch. You know about the show next weekend, right? On the 16th, in Dubuque? It will be fun. You should come to the show.

Here's the whole story. I've only got a minute, so pay attention!

We've made a new record. It's coming out on Touch&Go sometime this year, not sure exactly when. It'll be called "Italian Platinum." It seems like it sounds pretty good, but who am I to say? I'll put some tiny little snippets of it up here when I can.

We're playing some shows, as follows:

Fri 22 Feb / Madison, WI / the Annex w/Million Yen
Sat 23 Feb / Minneapolis, MI / 7th St Entry

Sat 16 Mar / Dubuque, IA / 4H Hall (early show--about 4pm)

Fri 22 Mar / Chicago, IL / Schuba's w/Mates of State and The Swords Project
Sat 23 Mar / Indianapolis, IN / Radio Radio w/The Swords Project
Sun 24 Mar / Wayne, MI / Michigan Fest w/a thousand other bands

Not sure what time we're playing at Michigan Fest. I'm excited to play with The Swords Project, they're from Portland & I used to see them a bunch when I lived back in Seattle. Those were different times. I'm excited to relive them in a very small way.

Okay, I got to go!
